Ely Cathedral
Open daily, the Cathedral, is one of England's biggest, oldest and finest Cathedrals set amidst medieval monastic buildings. Known locally as the "Ship of the Fens" it is famous for its unique Octagon Tower which when lit can be seen from miles around.
Oliver Cromwell's House
Visit the former Lord Protector' family home and experience an exhibition on 17th Century life, the Civil War and Cromwell' connections with Fen life. There are eight period rooms, exhibitions and video to enjoy. Oliver Cromwell's House is also Ely' Tourist Information Centre.
